Winter Wedding!!

What a beautiful winter wedding we had here! Thanks to Chad & Marci for sharing their wedding with the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera. And a special thanks to their planner CC from Colorado Wedding Company. She designed the perfect winter wedding.

The first half of the day the Lodge was just pounded with several inches of new snow. The white didn't delay the wedding though! But it did provide some great background for wedding photos! The ceremony took place in our Living Room followed by a cocktail hour and dinner reception in our restaurant Mirador. But the party did not end there! After dinner and dancing those who wanted to keep the party rolling headed to our Irish pub (the Grouse on the Green) for more drinks and snacks.

Thanksgiving Wedding!

We had a beautiful wedding here at the Lodge November 20, 2010.
The snow held off until the day after which provided perfect travel weather for wedding guests. The back half of our restaurant Mirador was beautifully set for dinner while the front half was transformed into a cocktail lounge area for appetizers and dancing. The fireplace roaring in the living room set off the perfect atmosphere for the s'mores after dinner.

We at the Lodge wish Mr. & Mrs. Hachmeister a wonderful first year of marriage and thank them for sharing their beautiful day with the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera.

LODGE REOPENS!

What an exciting time it is for the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera. With the slopes about to open the Lodge is back up and running after our two week closure.

Welcome to the new blog for the Lodge & Spa at Cordillera. This blog provides me, the Catering Sales Manager, to share what wonderful Wedding related happenings are going on here at the Lodge. 

In this blog I will share photos, contest, fun facts, trends, events and much more occurring at the Lodge. First and foremost I would like to introduce myself. My name is Lauren and I work as the Sales Manager for Weddings and all other Social events at the Lodge & Spa of Cordillera.

To kick start the blog I would like to share a picture of our first snowfall. Hopefully this will lead us into much more snowfall for a great winter season. This is a shot of the Lodge entrance and round-about with fall leaves covered in snow.
